Cool Ideas

One of our aims is to see
offices getting greener.
The global warming mug
will help you get the point
across. Pour in hot water
and coastlines give way
to rising oceans:
With outdoor torches and
heaters being banned in
some countries, it was only
a matter of time before a
solar alternative came on
the market:
This new chlorine-free
pool cleaner is safer and
more economical. It is
solar-powered and
releases mineral ions:
The water-saving TriSpa
handheld shower head sucks
in air, mixes it with the
water and accelerates it out.
There are 3 pressurized spray
patterns and it uses only
2.5 GPM!

DIY Electricity Generation

Start generating your own electricity within days. Build your own solar and wind power system from simple parts bought in a hardware store. You can convert your home to free, renewable energy for a ridiculously small outlay.

Three different training manuals (take your pick), each of which teaches you how to build and install:

your own wind turbine
your own solar panel
your own bio-energy system

Readymade Electricity Generation

If making your own 1000W or 3000W wind turbine and 200W solar panel (for a couple of hundred dollars each) is not your thing, you can buy readymade (albeit less powerful) versions:

Up to 900W/60A Wind Turbine: Up to 900W/24V
Hybrid Wind Turbine
-Solar Generator:
Up to 600W/12V
Hybrid Wind Turbine
-Solar  Generator:
Up to 400W/12V
Hybrid Wind Turbine
-Solar  Generator:
7 Amp Charge Controller: 30 Amp Digital Charge Controller:
1500W Portable Backup Power System: 30-foot Tower for Wind Generator:
160W Solar Back up Power Kit with Sharp Solar Modules: 123W Solar Charging Kit:
80W Solar Charging Kit: 60W Solar Charging Kit:

Note: Some of these items are geared towards 110/120V, so would
need a transformer/converter (e.g. for 220/240V or battery).

What does 1000W represent?

If you have a 1000w (or 1kW) solar energy system, you can create up to 7kWh of electricity from the sun’s light each summer day. The average household consumes approximately 20kWh of electricity per day, which can be reduced to less than 15kWh per day using simple energy-saving measures. Reducing consumption and using a basic solar energy system can therefore easily cut your electricity bill in half.
